I got the philly; steak well season, bun not too crispy & helpful staff. The only improvement I recommend is on the fries; they could have been a bit more crisp.

I love that they stay open until 3 on weekends. I've heard that they have very good rice bowls and nachos but the philly is so good I can't bring myself to try anything else. Big fan of the mushroom gravy.

The gentlemen behind the counter were very patient and polite with my friends and I. We went at about 1230 in the morning and it was still amazing.

I would highly recommend this place the Togo rice bowl. You can make 2meals out of it

Parking is often difficult to find, however they do offer the best fast-food Philly cheesesteak in Omaha. Cheesesteak costs around $9, but you'll leave satisfied. Be prepared for a pretty greasy sandwich, and don't expect much customer engagement or experience. However, I do plan to return.

I can be in and out of this store in less than a minute and you have no idea how satisfying that can be!The employees are friendly, helpful, and the store sometimes has giveaways in-store or on their Facebook page.Danny's is exactly what you would want from a neighborhood convenience store!

The Philly's are made fresh and to order. They are fast in service and full of flavor. Prices are reasonable and it is right on the western edge of the Old Market. If you don't feel like hitting any of the fine dining locales in the Old Market you can dine at PepperJacks grill. They even have some outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

We always come into pepperjax after visiting the downtown bars. We always get a friendly greeting from Demetri! Hes always so friendly and welcoming! Hes also recognizes us and it makes the experience so much better. I couldnt be happier with each and every time coming in and seeing Demetri! Thank you again pepperjax for hiring such friendly and welcoming employees!

They're pretty good. I have had better Philly steak sandwiches. But there's are pretty good. Moved through line pretty quick, no complaints

I'm only giving this place a four because the philly steaks are insanely good, and the staff is usually friendly. Just be prepared for obnoxious lines late at night and anytime they're training up a new hire, which seems like all the time. In those cases, I give them a 3.

I enjoy the style and options of this places and wish they would open more locations closer to me.

Staff was freindly and the food was delicious and prepared well.

Maybe I came on a bad day. Philly barely had any cheese and no flavor aside from basically a beef and bread sandwhich. I had to douse it with spicy ranch to get any flavor. 3 stars though because my wife liked her rice bowl.

Awesome food. I had the sausage burrito with fries and it was amazing. Very clean and the staff was awesome and engaging as they cook the food right in front of you in the line.

They have the best food everand give it to watch them cook it and if you want more of something you just tell them and they put it on there and do it right in front of u

Philly cheesesteaks are great. They are open late, perfect for me as I work long hours and sometimes cant grab dinner until after 10 or 11 PM. Service was okay, very nice & friendly but they forgot to put cheese on my cheese fries and I didn't find out until I got back to my place. Had to be patient as the service staff took a little bit of time to finish my order and pay but the food was good enough that I will come back again.

This place is great! The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Photos on the walls are really interesting too.

The cook they have in tonight was phenomenal! Great guy and made sure I got what I wanted since today is my first time trying peperjax. The cashier lady was very rude and had an attitude.

Their food is spot on! And service was professional !. Good job.

Everyone was so nice. We had a big party and the food came out fast the lady cooking did a marvelous job asking questions to make sure she got exactly what we wanted. We will return again.

It was really nice to select this grill and grab some phillies. Extremely delicious but little skeptical about hygiene.

PepperJax is normally pretty good, this outing was rough, they had some miss fires on the cook line, and it was way over seasoned.

They are a bit slow over lunch around noon, but if you beat the rush, it's very quick. A lot of new hires tend to slow the pace down a lot, but the people who've been there for a while are top notch.My only real complaint is how stingy one of the managers can be with the fireball...

Love pepperjacks...although giving 4 stars as their portion sizes for fries have decreased significantly.

This location is a wonderful example of its type. If you like places like this then you will definitely enjoy this place. Friendly, courteous, expeditious, efficient, clean, inspirational, lowkey, chill. Go and you will likely not regret it overmuch. Try the bowls if you don't want bread. Try the sandwiches if you DO want bread though... that's key.

It was really good food. The manager had his hands full with a couple of customers fighting and then the manger got them separated . One kept beating on the window. The manager locked the doors to keep us all safe. The police finally arrived and had to taze him when he tried to run. Wild night to start our vacation!! kudos to the manager for keeping his cool very apologetic.

It's pretty quick and I like the Philly sandwiches there, but am not a philly expert. Expect to leave smelling like smoke/food though.

I've been to PepperJax in the Old Market about five times. Today I stopped in for a Steak Bowl. The cook seemed to get a bit confused when I asked for no onions and then proceeded to put way too many peppers in the mix. When I sat down and began eating my first bite was all peppers. it was way too hot and overpower the flavor of the dish. I do like a little bit of spicy Heat but this was extreme. I picked thru and removed all the peppers and it turned out to be quite tasty. An observation I noticed the employee demographics are quite different here than the west Omaha location. Here it seems to mainly men with long hair and beards. With the food preparers having so much hair I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of my food. Anyway. Overall it was a good lunch meal. If all my photos and my review was helpful please smash that thumbs up button.

I love they're caso but was not impressed with the beef Philly cheessteak. Was clean and they had good customer service.

The food was good. My chicken philly was amazing, and the fries were cooked fresh, which is always a bonus. The place gets super busy when bars close, so they may need to hire an additional cashier for that late night crowd. But even with that, it was still a pleasant time.

Meat is always cooked and seasoned just right!

Decent cheesesteak from a known chain and the employees have always been cool and friendly. Place is very clean and service is fast. A little pricey but, it is cheesesteak after all. Great selection of toppings and sauces garantees you will get a good meal the way you want it.

Conveniently located on the busy end of Howard st. Downtown this quaint little shop is a great place to pick up a quick Philly.Say hello to Ben, the cook for me.Just once problem, there were no garbage cans in the dining area.

Yes the meat goes on the grill frozen BUT....Don't judge a book by its cover. They cook fresh onions and peppers for the Phillys. They also give dozens of options for toppings for the rice bowls, salads and Phillys. Their sides are a bit limited in number of choices but what they have is good (I really enjoy their fries as each order of them is usually cooked fresh to order). You'll see their brand outside Omaha now as they've begun to expand to other cities as well.
